GEkO Ontology v2: Description back to ToC

GEkO Ontology describes the phenomenon of ekphrasis along with technical implementation of image-text relations using annotations.

This second version (GEkO v2) aligns with CIDOC-CRM, defines the two forms of ekphrasis (notional and mimetic) into subclasses of the general class of geko:Ekphrasis, and transforms the three main rhetorical modalities into SKOS concepts.
